What each room is like

  • The infant room, with four cribs along a wall, a rocking chair, a soft rug and a large window

    Infants

Calm, quiet and slow. Each baby has a crib, a mat on the floor and a teacher who knows how that baby eats and sleeps.

    • 6 weeks to 12 months

    • A written note on each baby's day

  • Two toddlers seen from behind building a block tower on a rug in a bright room

    Toddlers

Low shelves, floor play and songs in Spanish and English. Toddlers move between the block corner, the book basket and the yard.

    • 12 to 24 months

    • Songs in both languages

  • A toddler seen from behind pushing a toy cart through the play kitchen

    Twos

A play kitchen, blocks and the first art table. Twos learn the rhythm of the day: circle, snack, play, rest and the yard.

    • 2 to 3 years

    • The first art table
