Family policies

Photos of your child

We ask your written permission before we share any photo of your child, on this site, in newsletters or on social media, and you can change your answer at any time. We never put a child's name with a photo, and the photos on this site are examples until we replace them with our own.

When to keep your child home

Please keep your child home with a fever, vomiting, diarrhea or a rash we don't recognize, and bring them back after a full day without symptoms. If your child gets sick here, we call you right away so someone can come.

Drop-off and pickup

A teacher hands each child to you at the room door. We release a child only to the people on your pickup list, and we ask for ID from anyone we don't know.

Late pickup

If you will be late, call or message us. If pickup runs past closing time, Miroslava talks with you in person; the rule is in writing when you enroll.

Meals, snacks and allergies

Breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack come from our kitchen. Tell us about any allergy at the tour; once you enroll, we ask again in private. Families of babies tell us how and when each baby eats and bring the milk or formula.

Naps and safe sleep

Babies sleep on their backs, in their own cribs, with nothing else in the crib. Toddlers and twos rest on cots after lunch, at the time each one needs.

Closures for weather and holidays

We close on the holidays we give you in writing when you enroll. If weather or anything else closes us, we tell you by text message and on WhatsApp.

Leaving the program

We ask for two weeks' notice before your child leaves, in writing or in person.
